Q. How far are you from the train station?
A. Approximately 10 minutes minutes walk from Waverley Station which is Edinburgh's mail station in the heart of the city
Q. How far are you from the Bus Station?
A. Approximately 5-10 minutes walk from St Andrews Bus Station the main Bus station in Edinburgh city centre
Q. Is it easy to park close to The Osbourne Hotel?
A. Yes. We do not have a carpark due to our very central location but there are two multi-story national car parks near by, one behind the Osborne and one around the corner. However, you can park outside the Osborne on the street after 6.30pm to 7.30am.
Q. How far is it to walk to the old town and castle area of the city?
A. The historic old town is about 15-20 minutes, and the castle not much further but it is uphill.
Q. What time is breakfast served?
A. Breakfast is served Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 9.30am and on a Sunday between 8.00am and 10.00am
Q. What time can you check in at and what time do you have to check out at on departure?
A. Check in time is between 1pm and 2.00pm and check out is 11.00am on day of departure.
Q. Approximately how much would a Taxi cost from Edinburgh Airport to The Osbourne Hotel?
A. As this can depend on what Taxi Cab firm you use and the number of people in your party we cannot state a set price, but believe it to be in the region of £30 from the Airport to Edinburgh city centre
Q. Do you have a restaurant and Bar within the Hotel?
A. We don't. The Hotel is all bedrooms all of which have Tea and Coffee making facilities. We have found that most people tend to go out to eat and sample the local restaurants and nightlife.
